Lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) and medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow) are chronic tendon overuse conditions that may persist after physical therapy and bracing. An MSC-derived product injected into the affected tendon origin is one of several investigational, non-FDA-approved options being studied for chronic tendinopathy. Individual response varies.
The description below is informational. Any specific protocol is a clinical decision determined by the treating physician based on the patient's individual evaluation.
An ultrasound-guided injection of an MSC-derived product to the affected tendon origin, paired with appropriate rehabilitation as determined by the treating physician.
The above is for general information only. Whether any procedure is appropriate is a clinical decision determined by the treating physician at consultation.
